Zelensky discusses matters with Bulgarian Prime Minister

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday that he had very substantive talks with Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov.

“Today, Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov and I had very meaningful talks in the entire area of ​​our relations, and, of course, security in the first place,” Zelensky said.

Zelensky added that he “discussed both cooperation in the energy sector and cooperation in the field of European integration.”

Earlier, Zelensky said at a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Bulgaria that “Ukraine and Bulgaria have agreed on more active cooperation in the defense sector.”

He also made it clear that he “signed a joint declaration with the Prime Minister of Bulgaria in Sofia in support of Kyiv’s membership in NATO.”
