John Kirby, White House National Security Council strategic communications coordinator, confirmed that Washington was not involved, close or far, in the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipeline.
Kirby made the claims in an interview with Fox News today, Sunday, and said in response to a related question, “The United States has nothing to do with this,” adding that “there’s not one iota of truth” in the article published by American journalist Seymour Hersh.
It is known that on February 8, investigative journalist Hirsch reported in the body of his journalistic investigation, citing one of the sources, that “explosive devices were planted under Russian gas pipelines in June 2022 under the cover of the Baltops 22 exercise conducted by Navy divers United States with the support of Norwegian specialists.

Adrienne Watson, a spokeswoman for the US National Security Council, in response to a question from TASS, described Hersh’s version as “a complete lie and a complete fabrication.”
