The United States intends to expand the sanctions regime against Russia and tighten control over its observance by other countries.

Jones stressed that the United States and its allies will continue to provide comprehensive assistance to Ukraine, including the supply of weapons. He also claimed that US sanctions had already affected the Russian economy and its military-industrial complex, which he argued was now unable to manufacture “certain weapons systems” due to US export control restrictions.
