Disclosure of the provision on the sale of alcohol "beer" During the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar

A source familiar with plans for the 2022 FIFA World Cup said there would be no alcohol in stadiums in Qatar, and only beer would be allowed outside stadiums before and after some matches.

The World Cup will be held in an Islamic country for the first time amid strict alcohol restrictions, and in Qatar drinking alcohol is prohibited in public places.

“Plans for stadiums are not finalized yet, but current discussions are to allow fans to drink beer upon arrival and exit, but beer will not be sold during matches or inside the stadium,” a source told Reuters.

Notably, the sale of beer or beer outside stadiums will be allowed, but only before and after certain matches.

Qatar will host the final part of the World Cup from November 21 to December 18, and the Netherlands and Senegal will take part in the opening match of the World Cup.
