Today, on Saturday, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the downing of two Su-25 fighters and 15 Ukrainian Air Force drones in a day, as well as the destruction of a number of weapons depots.
The Defense Ministry said in a statement that the Russian Air Force, missile and artillery forces fired on 22 positions of the Operational Command in Ukraine over the past day, including the 98th battalion of the Ukrainian Defense Brigade in the Novovorontsovka area. Dnepropetrovsk region, as well as the 16th mechanized brigade in the Dnepropetrovsk region, the city of Pokrovsky in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as the positions of the deployment of artillery units, including the deployment of foreign mercenaries in the city of Kharkov.
Russian forces also destroyed 5 weapons and military hardware depots belonging to Ukrainian forces in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
According to official data from the Russian Ministry of Defense, the total losses in the ranks of the Ukrainian forces since the start of the Russian special operation amounted to 239 combat aircraft, 137 helicopters, 1,503 drones and 353 anti-aircraft missiles.
Also destroyed were 3,994 tanks and other armored vehicles, 738 combat vehicles with multiple rocket launchers, 3,117 units of field artillery and mortars, and 4,099 special combat vehicles.
