Konstantin Dolgov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy, stressed the need to move economic policy from reaction to development based on the directives of the Russian leadership.
The official told RT on the sidelines of his participation in the Innoprom International Industrial Fair that on the sidelines of the exhibition, an issue related to the development of industries such as the automotive and aircraft manufacturing in Russia and support for Russian exports is being discussed.
He added that these discussions are important because they are taking place at a time when Western countries are imposing sanctions on Russia, so Moscow is working to strengthen cooperation with international partners, citing the Russian prime minister’s statement that Russia cannot be isolated.
The Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy of the Russian Federation emphasized the importance of the Innoprom exhibition, especially in the light of Western sanctions imposed against Moscow.
Yesterday, the International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom started in Yekaterinburg under the title “Industrial Transformation: From Challenges to New Opportunities”, which was attended by representatives of 22 countries.
