French league champions Paris Saint-Germain officially announced today, Tuesday, the dismissal of Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino from his post as team coach.
And the Paris Saint-Germain club, through its Twitter account, posted a “tweet” stating: “Paris Saint-Germain confirms that it has ended its partnership with Mauricio Pochettino.
The club would like to thank Mauricio Pochettino and his staff for their work and wish them all the best for the future.”
Mauricio Pochettino took over the task of coaching the Paris side in January 2021, managing the team in 84 matches and earning him three local titles, the French Cup and Supercup in 2021 and the league title in 2022.
Paris Saint-Germain is expected to announce their new coach Christophe Galt later in the day.
