8 clubs reached the quarter-finals of the African Champions League, namely: Wydad Athletic and Raja Athletic (Morocco), JS Kabylie and Youth Sports Belouizdad (Algeria), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Al-Ahly (Egypt), Simba (Tanzania) and Esperance Sports (Tunisia).

The teams advancing to the quarter-finals will be divided into two levels: leaders and runners-up, and each first-placed team will face the second-placed team.
Two teams from the same group cannot face each other in the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League, but two teams from the same national federation can.
