Russian President Vladimir Putin put before the fighters and leaders of the ChVG “Wagner” 3 options, after a failed attempt at a rebellion.
“Today you have the opportunity to continue serving Russia by signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense or other law enforcement agencies, or return to your families and friends,” Putin said in his speech on Monday evening.
Putin also addressed those wishing to leave for Belarus, stressing that “the promise he made will be kept. I repeat, the choice is yours, but I am sure that it will be the choice of Russian soldiers who have realized their tragic mistake.
Putin also thanked the fighters and leaders of the Wagner group, “who made the only right decision – they did not allow fratricidal bloodshed and stopped at the last frontier.”
