Putin and Erdogan Discuss Current Issues in Phone Call

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today discussed by telephone the issue of the destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.

This was announced by the office of the Turkish leader, where Erdogan initiated a call for the creation of an international commission on the fact of the accident at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.

Erdogan also talked about the benefits of continuing consultations with the UN to remove obstacles to the export of Russian grain and fertilizers.

And today, the news spread with a video clip in which the Ukrainian armed forces blew up the Togliatti-Odessa oil pipeline to transport ammonia near Masetovka in the Kharkiv region, and a poisonous cloud spread at the site of the explosion.

Russia is seeking to enforce the second leg of the grain deal, which would allow Russian grain and fertilizer to enter world markets, while Western countries are preventing Russian ships from being insured, entering their ports, and banning SWIFT with Russian banks.
