President Zamalek announces his team’s contract with new players

Egyptian Zamalek Football Club Chairman Mortada Mansour announced today, Tuesday, that his team has signed new players to strengthen the white team’s ranks next season.

Mortada Mansour said in television statements, “Zakaria Al Wardi, a former Moroccan Raja Casablanca player, has officially been signed by Zamalek as part of a free transfer deal after he successfully passed a medical,” adding, “I reassure Zamalek fans that Zakaria Al-Wardi is 100 times better than Tariq Hamed,” referring to former Zamalek player Tariq Hamed, who recently joined the Saudi Federation.

And Mortada Mansour continued: “We have also terminated the contract of Ibrahim Naday, a former (Swiss) Lausanne player, and I say to the Zamalek fans, rest assured, as we have signed an outstanding group of local players at the highest level. who will be announced at the appropriate time.”

Notably, Zamalek officially secured the Egyptian title this season ahead of the expected matchup with Al Ittihad of Alexandria today, Tuesday, in the 32nd round of the competition, after losing his nearest rival, the Pyramids, against The Future. with no answer, yesterday, Monday.

Zamalek won the title with 3 games left in his Egyptian league campaign after a 7-point gap with closest rivals, the Pyramids, a difference that could not be made up in the remaining two league matches for the Pyramids.
