The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced the names of the teams and clubs, as well as the names of the coaches and players who have been nominated for last season’s “Best Awards”.

On July 21, the African Football Confederation will hold its annual award ceremony for the best awards of the past season in the Moroccan capital of Rabat.

List of African Player of the Year nominees:

The list, which has been reduced to 5 coaches, includes: Carlos Queiroz, Pitso Mosimane, Tom Sentevet, Gambian coach, Walid Rekraki, coach Vidad, and Aliou Cisse, Senegal coach.

List of nominees for the best club in Africa:

This shortened list includes 5 clubs, namely Moroccan Raja, Libyan Al-Ahly Tripoli, Algerian ES Setif, Congolese TP Mazembe and Libyan Al-Ittihad.

While the list initially included both Al Ahli from Egypt, Moroccan Wydad, Moroccan Renaissance Berkane, Angolan Petro Atletico and South African Orlando Pirates.
