The Japanese Ministry of Defense announced that Japan would send civilian trucks and small drones to Ukraine at the request of Kyiv.
“In response to the request of the Ukrainian government, we will send new civilian trucks and small drones to Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense and the Japan Self-Defense Forces will continue to provide all possible assistance to Ukraine,” the message says. The ministry said on Thursday.
The statement did not check the number of trucks and drones and the timing of their transfer to Ukraine.
In March last year, Japan delivered non-lethal military aid to Ukraine, in particular bulletproof vests, military helmets, warm clothes, tents, cameras, hygiene products and power generators.
