Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz announced that Tel Aviv is cooperating with the countries of the region against Iran, and not only cooperating with them in the field of air defense.
In a speech during his participation in a meeting of his Kol Lavan bloc, Gantz said that “Israel is cooperating with the countries of the region against Tehran not only on the issue of air defense.”
He added: “On the issue of security, our policy is to act as if there are no elections. It is important for us to remember that the Middle East and its challenges are not waiting for us.”
He added: “Israel is not opposed to a nuclear deal (with Iran), but rather a bad deal, and this is our position, which we have conveyed to our friends in the world,” noting that “if nuclear negotiations are possible to resume, we will continue to work with the United States.” and other countries until we influence the drafting of an agreement.
And he added: “One way or another, we will continue to defend ourselves stubbornly in order to build up forces for action against Iran and be ready for any scenario.”
And Gantz continued: “As you know, we are building our broad partnership with other countries in the region to ensure a secure, stable and prosperous Middle East in terms of air defense and other aspects. A stable Middle East is global, regional and Israel’s interests above all.”
