Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that he is in constant contact with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin as part of efforts to rebuild Ukraine.
“I am in constant contact with Vladimir Putin. All diplomatic efforts must be made for an urgent ceasefire,” Erdogan said at a press conference after the NATO summit in Madrid.
Earlier, Erdogan and US President Joe Biden held talks at the NATO summit in Madrid.
