Al-Deeb pointed out that the volume of trade exchange between Qatar and Egypt increased by 50% during 2021, describing the relationship between the two countries as outstanding, praising the role of the private sector in the two countries in developing trade and economy. relations as it contributed to the expansion of the trade exchange, which amounted to 239 million Qatari riyals compared to 159 million Qatari rials in 2020.
He noted that the value of Qatari investments in Egypt increased in the first quarter of the financial year (2021-2022) by 4.2% compared to the same period last year, and the value of Qatari investments in Egypt in the first quarter of the financial year “2021-2022” amounted to $121.8 million compared to $116.9 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year Trade between them also reached $44.8 million in 2021 compared to $25.4 million in 2020, up 76.4%.
