"Aramco": The redirection of Russian oil supplies did not affect our positions in Asia

The head of the Saudi energy company Aramco, Amin Nasser, ruled out that the redistribution of Russian oil supplies to Asia, including India, will affect Aramco’s position in the Asian market.

The statement came during a conference call with investors, where Nasser commented on the impact of the redistribution of Russian oil supplies from Europe to Asia and India on Aramco’s position in these markets.

“In terms of the Indian market and imports of Russian oil, we have a good relationship (with importers in India) and we are the main supplier because of our reliability for buyers both in Asia and around the world,” said the head of Saudi Aramco. said.

Aramco previously announced that it posted a profit of $48.4 billion in the second quarter of 2022, up 90.2% year-over-year thanks to strong oil prices.
