Leaders Express Sympathy and Condolences to Morocco Earthquake Victims

Leaders from many countries expressed sympathy and condolences to the victims of the devastating earthquake that rocked parts of Morocco yesterday, Friday, claiming hundreds of lives and leaving huge destruction in its wake.

President Vladimir Putin expressed condolences to King Mohammed VI of Morocco for the victims of the devastating earthquake.

According to a Kremlin statement, President Vladimir Putin’s telegram said: “Please accept our condolences to the victims of the devastating earthquake that hit the central regions of the country. Russia stands with the Moroccan people. We express our full support and sympathy to the families and friends of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to all those injured.”

Emirati President Mohammed bin Zayed offers support

Emirati President Mohammed bin Zayed also expressed condolences to King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people for the earthquake victims.

He ordered the launch of an airlift to transport urgent humanitarian aid to Morocco.
