What will be the Russian budget in 2022?

The document of the Russian government states that the budget deficit of Russia in 2022 will be 0.9% of GDP, or 1.313 trillion rubles.

The document includes the main directions of customs and tax policy for 2023 and for the planning period of 2024 and 2025, as well as the following main points:

The Russian Ministry of Finance plans to raise 1.7 trillion rubles by issuing bonds in 2023, 1.9 trillion rubles in 2024 and 2 trillion rubles in 2025.

The Russian budget in 2023-2025 will be provided with additional revenues from the export of liquefied natural gas and higher taxes on oil and gas.

– Russia’s public debt is expected to reach 16.9% of GDP in 2023, 17.3% in 2024 and 17.5% in 2025.

– The budget deficit of Russia in 2022 is expected at the level of 0.9% of GDP, which is equivalent to 1.313 trillion rubles.

The Russian government plans to allocate 921 billion rubles for the implementation of the national demographic project in 2023, and 886 billion rubles in 2024.

It is planned to allocate 310 billion rubles for the implementation of the Healthcare national project in 2023, and 309 billion rubles in 2024.

– 208 billion rubles will be allocated for the national project “Education” in 2023, and 221 billion in 2024.

It is planned to allocate 145 billion rubles for the national project “Sciences and Universities” in 2023, and 155 billion rubles in 2024.
