James O’Brien, the US State Department’s sanctions policy coordinator, said the US will continue to work on imposing new sanctions against Russia.
He warned Russia and its allies about the consequences of a military operation in Ukraine and said that it would be terrible.
And he vowed that anyone who follows in the Kremlin’s footsteps will face the consequences of his policies.
