US intelligence has confirmed that there is no evidence that the coronavirus epidemic was caused by any accident at an epidemiological laboratory in Wuhan, China, in 2019.
A U.S. intelligence report released on Friday said scientists at the Wuhan lab conducted research on coronaviruses, including animal sampling and genetic analysis, prior to the outbreak.
And the report added: “As before, we have no evidence that the Wuhan laboratory tanks before the epidemic contained SARS-CoV-2 or any related virus close to it, and there is no direct evidence that any related to research The incident happened before the epidemic with personnel from the Wuhan Lab, and it was because of this that the epidemic could have arisen.”
US intelligence expressed the belief that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was not artificially created as a biological weapon.
According to the report, US intelligence has been unable to determine the exact origin of the Covid-19 epidemic, and there is near-common agreement among US intelligence agencies that the virus was not genetically engineered.
