Stéphane Dujarric, a spokesman for the UN Secretary-General, said that the International Atomic Energy Agency would organize a visit to the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant as soon as possible.
“The UN is interested in the speedy arrival of the IAEA delegation to the Zaporozhye NPP,” Dujarric said in a statement, noting that the agency continues to work with all interested parties in this direction.
“As I have repeatedly said, we support the IAEA in every possible way,” he added.
He continued, “Every day it becomes more important for technicians to visit nuclear power plants.”
