Ukrainian UFC fighter failed doping test

Ukrainian Askar Mozarov was disqualified for failing a doping test after a fight at UFC Fight Night 207.

Banned substances were found in the fighter’s sample and a decision was made to suspend the 27-year-old Ukrainian fighter until a disciplinary hearing is scheduled for September.

On June 4, Mozarov made his debut in the UFC against American Alonzo Minnifield, but lost the fight by technical knockout.

Earlier, Mozarov was accused of falsifying records, as it turned out that the Ukrainian played under several pseudonyms to yellow his previous losing record.

The fighter’s statistics (false) indicate 25 wins against 7 losses, although in fact he won 15 victories and suffered 14 losses.
