Ukraine’s Hopes for F-16 Fighters Dashed by Germany’s Disappointment

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said his country could not supply Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets because it did not have them.

“We are not part of the alliance for the supply of fighter jets to Ukraine, because we do not have F-16s,” the Der Spiegel newspaper quotes the Minister of Defense.

She pointed out that Kyiv still hopes that Germany will join the “fighter alliance”.

In recent months, the Kiev regime has urged Western countries to provide it with F-16 fighter jets, and the United States and its NATO allies have promised to start training pilots, but did not give a specific delivery date.

It should be noted that Moscow warned the West about this move, and Russian President Vladimir Putin said that if Ukraine received the F-16s and placed them at airports outside of Ukraine, the Russian army would discuss options for destroying them, and stressed that the Russian army would burn them. like burning tanks, German Leopards and American Bridleys.
