Two people died as a result of shelling of the Ukrainian side of the Donetsk Republic over the past day.

The Joint Center for Observation and Coordination of the Ceasefire reported that as a result of shelling of the Donetsk Republic by Ukrainian troops over the past 24 hours, two civilians were killed.

In a statement today, the center indicated that 12 people were also injured in the explosion.

The statement added: “The number of civilians injured in the Donetsk People’s Republic as a result of the UAF bombing on August 16, 2022, reached 14 people, as a result of this bombing, two civilians were killed.”
