The Turkish Defense Ministry announced the neutralization of two militants of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) as part of Operation Claw-Castle, which has been ongoing in northern Iraq since April last year.
The ministry said: “Northern Iraq and Syria will not be safe for terrorists. They are determined to eradicate terrorism at its source.”
On April 18, Turkey launched Operation Claw-Castle against the PKK in the areas of Matina, Zab and Afshin-Basian in northern Iraq.
