Poland’s world No. 1 Iga Šwiontik won her third major tennis title and first US Open title by beating Tunisian Anas Jaber in the final on Saturday.

This is Schwiontik’s first major title at the US Open and the third of her career after Roland Garros 2020 and 2022.

On the other hand, Anas was stripped of her first major career title for the second time in a row, after reaching the English Wimbledon final this year and losing to Kazakhstani Elena Rybakina.
