The Tunisian star made interesting and funny statements after winning his first match in the tournament, saying: “I love football. When I play in such stadiums (the grass courts of Wimbledon), I feel like I am playing a football match, and for this, I pretend that I am Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays here. And Anas Jaber said when the announcer reminded her of this, “Didn’t I mention Beckham last time?” The announcer replied: “I mentioned Ronaldo”, while the Tunisian laughingly commented: “Now I’m like Beckham and I play like him.”
Anas Jaber revealed that she discussed with David Beckham, the England captain and midfielder for Manchester United, Real Madrid and former Paris Saint-Germain, various things such as football and tennis in general, while Beckham expressed interest in watching some of the matches in the United States.
