Billboards showing Russian President Vladimir Putin embracing a copy of the Holy Quran given to him by the imam of the Derbent Mosque in the Russian Republic of Dagestan have circulated across Lebanon.

Nasser al-Din noted that the Russian President “delivered a valuable message, declaring that he will continue his efforts to spread the values of moderation, love and tolerance, the rejection of extremism and intellectual terrorism, and the need to maintain respect in relations between peoples.”
He pointed out that “President Putin is waging a clear and continuous fight against this evasion that these countries are deliberately propagating. Russia acts as a bulwark in the face of these suspicious attempts, such as propaganda, support and approval of homosexuality at the state and legislative level in more than one country. … This is an immoral phenomenon, the purpose of which is the collapse of societies, their dismantling and the reduction of humanity.”
Nasser El-Din continued: “In gratitude for the position of President Vladimir Putin, we express gratitude to him from Roslivan and from every person who believes that this life is given by God to everyone and to no one, how would he feel that he has the power to earth, can fight the formation and change its nature.
