Trump: Poor Abortion Solution Causes Disappointing Congressional Election Results

The Hill reported that former US President Donald Trump condemned the performance of the Republican Party in the midterm elections, which he called “disappointing.”

Trump tried to shift the blame to other members of the Republican Party, noting on his social network TruthSocial that they “didn’t handle the abortion issue well, especially those who insisted so much on no exceptions.”

Last June, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned a 50-year-old decision known as Roe v. Wade, which guarantees women’s right to abortion because every state has the right to ban abortion.

The Supreme Court decision prompted Democrats to raise the issue of abortion in their campaign ads, portraying Republicans who support all anti-abortion laws without exception as “extremists.”

Trump released lists of candidates he claimed performed well because of his support, while others said their poor performance was due to his criticism, while ignoring the long list of his supporters who lost the election.

Outgoing Republican Representative Adam Kinzinger has issued a warning about the future of the United States unless Trump faces criminal charges for his role in the January 6, 2021 Capitol riots.

The congressional committee tasked with investigating the events of January 6 recommended that four criminal cases be transferred on December 23 that said Trump incited the rebellion and obstructed a formal congressional hearing.
