With regard to the land allocation process required for the project, the Egyptian Minister of Housing, Dr. Assem Al Jazzar, pointed to the possibility of preparing a specific timetable for the development of the region, explaining that the necessary land will be allocated in two stages, and in the event that in the first stage there will be seriousness is proved, the lands necessary for implementation will be obtained. El-Ghazzar added: “The largest number of housing units, especially for low-income people, are being built in different cities of October, so such a project is very important to provide jobs.

The Egyptian prime minister said the government had received a request from El Cudi Electric Group for a new industrial estate in New October City, to be implemented through an industrial developer system, next to the dry port. implemented in the city of the Sixth of October.

Madbouli stressed that the government will not earn a single pound from the price of these industrial lands, and the development and speed of the factories is important to them.

Minister of Industry Ahmed Sameer said that coordination has been made with the Minister of Housing in this regard, and arrangements have been made for the management of the industrial zone that the industrial developer will acquire and manage so as not to add an increase in the burden on the manufacturer.

During the meeting, Engineer Ahmed El Sewedy, General Manager and Managing Director of El Sewedy Electric Group, spoke about the features of the Industrial October project in the city of New October, explaining that the project is planned to become one of the largest industrial cities in Egypt with an area of ​​5 million square meters. meters, where the use will vary. Land between industrial, logistics, commercial, administrative and service activities, close to the dry port of October 6, indicating that the new city will be directly connected to the port of Alexandria by rail.

He added that the components of the project include “Al Suwaidi Training Academy, Administrative and Service Zone, Commercial Zone, Industrial Zone, Warehouse Zone, Central Park and Logistics Zone.” product, in addition to attracting £20 billion of foreign and domestic investment, as well as providing more than 150,000 jobs in various industries, as well as the construction and development of more than 400 factories and about 100 logistics and commercial facilities.

Mohamed El-Kamma, CEO of Sewedy Industrial Development Group, an industrial developer part of Elsewedy Electric Group, said the city will build 1,500 megawatt power plants and also attract a group of skilled workers, noting that the project will take place close to major roads and ports of Cairo: Delta, Alexandria, Faiyum, Cairo/Alexandria Desert, Fayoum Road and Wahat Road.

It was decided to prepare a model contract for the proposed industrial city with implementation as soon as possible, and it was also decided to discuss obtaining another piece of land to create an industrial zone in the new city of Faiyum.
