The tweet mistakenly mentioned Dmitry Medvedev, to which the politician replied: “Unfortunately, I did not play against Novak Djokovic.”

US Open Final Match

The Serb won in three sets (6-3), (7-6), (6-3) in a match that lasted 3 hours 18 minutes to claim his fourth US Open title and improve his record as the top player. Most Grand Slam titles won in the world history (24).

Dujokovic’s US Open victory put him at the top of the world rankings for the eighth time and also strengthened his record as the player to finish the year at the top of the rankings.
