The Russian Foreign Ministry describes the novel "New York Times" Butcha events try to keep the fabricated version

The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement rebutting a recent New York Times article about the Bucha events and dismissed the article as an attempt to maintain a fabricated version of the events.

And the foreign statement continued, fast On the official website of the ministry: “On April 5, 2022, a special meeting of the UN Security Council was held, during which the majority of member states called for an independent international investigation into the events in Bucha.

A number of European deputies, political scientists and journalists pointed out the fabricated nature of the events in general, while the need for clear answers to specific questions arises: last name, first name, family of the victims, their place of residence or registration, time, place and cause of their death, as well as the results post-mortem examination, indicating the nature of the bodily injuries that caused them at death. As you know, the media wrote about shrapnel wounds as a result of the shelling of the city of Bucha by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Let’s say right away that, despite the loud announcement in the video attached to the text of the New York Times article, obviously edited, there is nothing that could substantiate the repeated accusations in the West against the Russian military at the suggestion of Ukrainian “agents”.

It is simply obvious that in the West there cannot be an objective investigation, where the culprit is immediately named, and that is why the propaganda machine fabricates fables, not really caring about the reliability of the details. We are dealing with a well-thought-out advertising product, built on a completely believable video material, but skillfully processed and “smartly” commented in order to evoke an emotional response.

The assumption that the dead were allegedly killed in the first days of the Russian “occupation” on March 4-5 last year also does not stand up to criticism, since the inhabitants of Bucha could lie on the streets of the city for a whole month before the departure of the Russian Armed Forces. Not only was the point of view of Russian officials not ignored, but also the video message recorded by the mayor of this city, A. Fedorok, on March 31, after the departure of our troops from Bucha, in which he did not say a word about the fact that local residents were shot and lie on streets with their hands tied. It also seems that the creators of the video refer to the “civilian” cities as representatives of territorial defense.

The conclusions about the causes of the deaths of persons are based on the assumptions of the journalists themselves, for example, the video clip shows the shooting of the Russian army in an unknown direction, and the voice-over explains that with this shot they killed a man whose body was found at a distance of a shot on this street. The reliability of the sources and data on which the creators of the video relied is also doubtful. In addition, representatives of the Ukrainian police, the Department of State Security and the deputy mayor of Bucha, M. Skurik-Chkarovskaya, got acquainted with the final materials.

Those behind such attacks in the media must understand that sooner or later they will have to respond to these fabrications. Agents and sponsors of the Ukrainian regime, as well as those who kill civilians in Donbass and shoot unarmed Russian prisoners of war, will stand trial in Donetsk and Lugansk. You can’t escape retribution.”
