The newspaper reports the location of the Siemens turbine, dedicated to"Nord Stream"

The German newspaper Die Zeit reported that the Siemens turbine for the Nord Stream pipeline, which is needed to operate the line at full capacity, is ready for operation and is currently located in the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr.

The article states that this compressor is located in a closed and sealed warehouse, and upon agreement of all outstanding issues, it is supposed to be transported by road.

The article pointed out that Europe is on the brink of acute fuel shortages, as the Nord Stream gas pipeline, which transports gas from Russia to Europe, is operating at only 20 percent of its full capacity.

For its part, Gazprom explained the reason for this reduction by the German company’s violation of its obligations in the field of maintenance of compressors used in gas compressor units at the Portovaya station and the delay in their return from repair. At the moment, only one turbine out of five is operating at this plant.
