According to media reports, some of the people who have recently been followed at the Twitter headquarters in San Francisco are people close to Musk, such as his cousins, and people who work for companies like Tesla and ” The Boring Company,” and even American journalist Barry Weiss, whom Musk is expected to help publish the so-called Twitter files.
Approximately 150 people still work at Twitter, and the rest of the staff initially expected it to be temporary because Musk took over Twitter, but now some are wondering if Musk is stupid, and many employees are criticizing Musk’s appointments for his loved ones.
About 70% of Twitter’s 7,500 employees have been laid off or laid off since Musk took office. The company has reportedly not disclosed a new formal executive or reporting structure since Musk took over, and the internal employee directory has been down for several weeks.
Two of Musk’s cousins, James and Andrew Musk, now work daily as Twitter employees, two sources said, with Andrew working on software development projects and helping James with various needs and tasks for the company.
Another member of the Musk family is also actively present in the office, Musk’s two-year-old son. The child is often on the tenth floor where Musk works and sometimes plays with him among several employees.
Dozens of Tesla engineers remain on Twitter, along with Boring Company employees and others in Musk’s personal professional orbit, such as his lawyers Alex Spiro and Jared Burchall, who run Musk’s family office.
