The Embassy of Ukraine in Beirut denied information about the location of the ship "Razzoni"

The Ukrainian Embassy in Beirut reported that the first Razoni ship under the flag of Sierra Leone, the first grain ship to leave Ukraine, was resold several times, and there is no information about its whereabouts and destination.

The Ukrainian embassy in Beirut said in a statement: “Our task was to reopen the seaports for the shipment of grain, and this has already been done. So far, more than 450,000 tons of agricultural products have left Ukraine since the conclusion of the agreement mediated by Turkey. and the UN with Russia and Ukraine.”

She stated: “This ship is the first ship to leave Ukraine under the agreement and then successfully pass inspection in Istanbul before sailing to its destination. However, we have no information about the location or destination of the ship. We also have information that the cargo was resold several times after that.” “We are not responsible for (the ship) and the cargo, especially after it left Ukraine, and after it left the foreign port again,” she added.

The ship reportedly left Odessa on August 1 and crossed the Black Sea with Ukrainian corn that had been tested in Turkey.

It was originally en route to Lebanon with 26,000 metric tons of corn to feed chickens, but buyers of corn in Lebanon refused to accept the shipment as it was delivered after the agreed date.

The ship’s tracking device has not been turned on for the past three days, and it appeared off the east coast of Cyprus during the last shipment. It is also unclear if the ship turned off its tracking device because it was heading to a port in Syria.
