The euro fell to below the dollar today, on Monday, in light of fears of an economic downturn in the eurozone amid the ongoing energy crisis.
According to Bloomberg, the euro exchange rate by 12:17 Moscow time fell by 0.43% to $0.9994.
As for the reasons for the fall of the single European currency, experts pointed to an unprecedented rise in inflation in European countries.
