Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the Council of the Zaporozhye Regional Administration, announced the prevention of a provocation planned by the Kyiv forces at the Zaporozhye NPP during the visit of UN Secretary-General António Guterres to Ukraine.
Rogov said that according to the information received, according to our sources from the other side and according to sources in the special services and the Russian Ministry of Defense, something should have happened at the nuclear power plant.
He added that thanks to the fact that we raised a fuss, and when public statements began that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was a provocation, and that any actions they were preparing would be documented, the provocation was prevented.
He noted that the Kyiv forces were ready for a provocation on August 19 during Guterres’ visit to Ukraine.
