UN Secretary General António Guterres stressed that the UN is working with the United States and the European Union to remove obstacles to the export of Russian food and fertilizers.
Guterres of the Joint Coordinating Center said: “The sanctions against Russia do not affect food and fertilizers. But, of course, they affect private companies, and there are a number of obstacles and difficulties that need to be overcome. They are related to transportation, insurance and financing.”
“I can say that we are working very hard in cooperation with the United States and the European Union so that we can remove these obstacles and this will allow us to do something very important for people, especially in developing countries,” he continued.
