Al Hilal kicked off their current Champions League campaign with a 1-0 away defeat to South African team Mamelodi Sundowns that brought them together last Saturday.
So far, Al Ahli are playing their first match in the African Championship for participation in the 2022 Club World Cup, which was held in Morocco earlier this month, while the Egyptian team finished fourth in the World Cup.
