At a meeting with the German Chancellor, Siemens Energy CEO Christian Prosch said that the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline turbine unit had not yet been delivered to Russia.

“We are very interested in returning the turbine to Russia with the support of the German government, from our point of view, all documents and customs documents are ready, but we need the participation of the customer, that is, Gazprom,” Brokh said. – said at the meeting. We haven’t received the documents yet. Therefore, we cannot send this turbine. The turbine has been standing here for more than a week.”

In turn, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz pointed out that there are no reasons not to supply the Siemens turbine to Russia.

The German chancellor arrived today at the Siemens plant in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, to inspect a Siemens turbine for the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline, at a time when Germany is suffering from a shortage of gas supplies.

The turbine got stuck in Germany in the process of being sent from Canada to Russia, and this happened due to the fact that the Russian side did not receive permission to send the turbine, and on August 2, German government spokesman Wolfgang Buechner said that Berlin did not know the location of the Siemens turbine for the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline.
