Sheikh Salman wishes success to the teams and judges of the Asian continent in Qatar 2022

Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation, expressed his sincere wishes for success and success to the teams and referees of the Asian continent during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

This version testifies to the historical appearance of the Asian continent in the final with a record number of 6 Asian teams, in addition to the appearance of the largest number of judges represented by 19 judges, during the World Championship, which is held from November 20 to December 18.

Sheikh Salman said: “On behalf of the entire Asian football family, I would like to express the sincere wishes of the Asian continent to the teams of Australia, Iran, Japan, South Korea hosting Qatar and Saudi Arabia, as well as our world famous referees.”

He added: “As part of the Asian Football Confederation’s vision and mission, the emphasis is on ensuring that we provide the best possible conditions for our teams and referees to excel in the most important tournaments, and we are confident that representatives from the Asian continent will deliver historic performances.”

The President of the Asian Football Confederation expressed confidence in the role of the World Cup in strengthening the foundations of the game of football in the Asian continent in the coming decades.

He continued: “We look forward to the success of the Qatar Football Association, the Supreme Committee for Heritage and Projects and the Qatari authorities, together with FIFA in organizing an unprecedented World Cup in history, and the Asian football family joins me in wishing them every success. success.”

He added, “I know the Asian continent and I know the Middle East region is ready and I’m sure Qatar will put on an unforgettable show for the world.”

Qatar’s host national team will kick off the competition by meeting Ecuador on November 20 at the Al Bayt Stadium in Group A, before witnessing Iran take on England at the Khalifa International Stadium the following day.
