From North Africa to Syria via Somalia.. "Brunette" In Istanbul, the Arabs are perplexed .. So who is she?

The news of the arrest of terrorist Ahlam al-Bashir in Istanbul caused an uproar and controversy on social media, as some doubted that the young woman was Syrian, while others doubted that she was the one who carried out the operation in the first place.

Assad’s share of questioning the Turkish narrative was the share of the Kurds, who saw it as a prelude to a new Turkish attack targeting parts of northern Syria.

Kurdish activists took this position against the backdrop of the Turkish-Kurdish conflict in Syria and Iraq and regarded what happened as an “intelligence fiction”.

Some have ruled out that the PKK was behind the attack, pointing out that the party does not want any clashes with the Turks after it received “the theft of oil, gas, wheat and cotton and the establishment of semi-autonomy.”

Twitter users felt that “the bombing will increase demands for the deportation of Syrians from Turkey.”

Others stressed that the bombing benefited Turkey, which would seek to deport the Syrians and carry out an operation against the Kurds shortly before the election of leaders in the coming period, thereby killing two birds with one stone.

On the other hand, tweeters questioned whether the perpetrator was Syrian, noting that her features are alien to Syrian society and closer to North Africa or Somalia.

It should be noted that Turkish security forces arrested Syrian citizen Al-Bashir at her home in the Canary region of Küçükçekmece on the night of November 13.

Subsequently, the girl admitted that she had been trained at the intelligence school of the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Turkey, in the Syrian city of Kobani (Ain al-Arab), where the US military lectured there.

According to Turkish media, about a year ago she trained there as a special intelligence officer.

Al-Bashir entered Turkey illegally via Afrin with a man 4 months ago and pretended to be husband and wife so their identities would not be revealed. They also took jobs in a camouflage fabric workshop.

A massive explosion took place Sunday on Istiklal Street in central Istanbul, killing six people, including children and women, and injuring 82 others.
