Saudi Arabia’s budget posted a surplus in the third quarter of 2022

Data released today, Monday, showed that the Saudi budget posted a surplus of 14.1 billion rials ($3.75 billion) in the third quarter of 2022.

The Ministry of Finance of Saudi Arabia released a report on the execution of the state budget for the first nine months of 2022, where the data showed a budget surplus of 149.5 billion rials, with revenues of 950.2 billion rials and expenditures of 800.7 billion rials.

In the third quarter of this year, total revenues were 301.87 billion rials, while expenses were 287.73 billion rials, and the surplus was 14.14 billion rials.
