Saudi Arabia opens flights to Asian country for first time in 32 years

Saudi Arabian Airlines has resumed flights to South Korea for the first time in 32 years, Yonhap news agency reported.

Saudi Airways announced today that it has begun operating flights on the Jeddah-Riyadh-Incheon route.

Saudi Airlines, which was established in 1945 and is one of the largest airlines in the Middle East, has been transporting Korean workers who have contributed to the construction in light of the reconstruction revival in the Middle East in the past.

The Saudi company operates 3 flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The opening ceremony of the flight and the reception of passengers is scheduled tonight at Incheon International Airport in the presence of the Asian Director of Saudi Airlines, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Seoul and officials of the Incheon International Airport Corporation.
