Saudi Al-Hilal extends coach Diaz’s contract for another year

After leading Al Hilal to a tough Saudi Football League title, the capital team has extended the contract of its Argentine coach Ramon Diaz for another year.

The AFC Champions League winner tweeted on his official Twitter account on Monday: “The story continues” and posted a video clip in which he addressed the slogans of the clubs Diaz won against, concluding “another year”.

Diaz, 62, led Al-Hilal to the title crown for the third consecutive season, the second after the first spell in 2016-2017 when the blue team won the title for the first time since 2011, with two rounds to go. .

The former international striker returned to “leader” training after the departure of Portuguese Leonardo Jardim to control him while he was in fourth place, 16 points behind the leaders of the Union.

He led him to win 12 out of 13 matches and lost one match against Al Faihaa, before losing to the same team in the King’s Cup final.
