Salah wears his new Liverpool number instead of his regular number "eleven"

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah is expected to wear the number 10 shirt instead of his regular number 11 if he takes part in the Liverpool vs Crystal Palace match as part of the two teams’ preparations for the start of the new season.

The confrontation will take place today, Friday, at 12:30 Moscow time.

Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has announced his squad’s starting lineup for the Reds’ second friendly against Crystal Palace scheduled for the Singapore National Stadium in preparation for the new 2022-2023 season.

The line-up included Adrian, Milner, Konate, Matip, Cemakas, Henderson, Jones, Elliott, Chamberlain, Luis Diaz, Firmino.

Klopp has kept Egyptian Salah on the bench and if he comes on as a substitute, he will wear the number 10 shirt worn by Senegalese Sadio Mane, who joined Bayern Munich this summer.

Salah wears the number 10 shirt for Egypt, while he has become accustomed to wearing number 11 for Liverpool since he joined in 2017.
