Salah broke the fast and set a new record

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah scored several outstanding numbers in his Liverpool team’s match against Dutch guest Ajax Amsterdam (2-1) on Tuesday night in the second round of the European Champions League group stage.

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for the Reds after a great pass from fellow Portuguese striker Diogo Jota 17 minutes into the first half at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah scored his first goals in the current version of the European Football Championship and broke his record by scoring in seven matches of the tournament, especially after the match against Inter Milan in the first leg of last season’s Champions League final.

The Egyptian star became the Reds’ all-time leading scorer in European competition at Anfield, surpassing legend Steven Gerrard’s record.

Mohamed Salah also broke his fast after recently suffering from infertility: he has not scored a single goal in his last 4 matches with Liverpool, three of them in the Premier League against Bournemouth, Newcastle and Everton and another in the Premier League. Champions League against Napoli, Italy.
