Bitcoin falls below $20,000 as Ether loses 6% of its value

Cryptocurrencies experienced a major drop as Bitcoin suffered a huge loss of 13% and the value of Ether fell by 6%.

Bitcoin, the world’s most famous cryptocurrency, is down 57.9% from its yearly high on March 28 at $48,234.

Bitcoin reached its lowest level ever this year in July due to a wave of interest rate hikes by major central banks when it hit $18,647.

Ether is down 6.07% to $1612.7 today, down $104.3 from the previous close.

The cryptocurrency is up 220.7746% over the past five years despite the recent market crash.

Cryptocurrency investors have earned more than 2000 times more than the most profitable stocks.
