Aeroflot, the national air carrier of Russia, announced today, Friday, the resumption of civil flights to Cairo airport in Egypt from November 12.
A statement posted on the Russian national carrier’s website says it will operate one daily flight between Moscow and Cairo airports, and the flights are scheduled to be operated by SuperJet 100 (Russian-made aircraft). .
Below is the flight schedule:
– Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: Departure from Moscow airport at 08:55 (Moscow time) – Arrival time at Cairo airport at 14:15 (Cairo time).
The return flight on the same days will be as follows: Departure from Cairo at 15:15 (Cairo time) – Arrival at Moscow airport at 22:25 (Moscow time).
– Friday flight: departure from Moscow airport at 08:50 (Moscow time) – Arrival at Cairo airport at 14:15 (Cairo time).
The return flight on the same day will be as follows: Departure from Cairo at 15:15 (Cairo time) – Arrival at Moscow airport at 22:20 (Moscow time).
A one-way ticket starts at 22,341 rubles (about $360), while a one-way (round-trip) ticket starts at 40,380 rubles (about $651).
Thus, Cairo will become the third point in Egypt where Aeroflot operates regular flights. In early October, the airline resumed flights to the Red Sea resorts of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh.
